It doesn’t happen often but every once in a while we receive an email from someone who is unable to sign in and complete their transaction at Windstar Embroidery Designs.
Their UserName and Password are being entered correctly but they keep getting bumped back to the sign in page. The problem is always traced to a “cookie” thing and always occurs with the Internet Explorer browser. Somehow the cookie set by our site gets corrupted and can’t be read correctly. So our application looks for verifying information, gets confused, and does the only thing it can “think” of: Not allow the sign in.
After responding and telling those visitors how to delete the cookies from their computer, our system sets a new one, everything works and life is good for both parties. It works every time.
